WHERE TIME
STANDS STILL
est. 1938 - 1999
Another site that is
soon to be demolished. These pics were taken in spring of 2005.
This state facility was one of the first Tuberculosis
Sanitariums
opened in the 1930's, was sold to a private company in the 1990's and
eventually became a chronic care facility.
On the grounds you can still
find some cottages, a medical building, and some staff housing.
At this
time, the clock tower is gone - it's so empty as the whole right side
is gone.
You can only see the hint of tunnels and a bunch of old furniture.
The demolition crew is now onto the left side of the building.
